We reverse climate change by managing neglected farm land, that we lease, our workers being domestic livestock. They express their natural instincts to participate with nature as wildlife would have in the healthiest migratory ecological processes. This is human scale agriculture, demonstrating a business model for a family to make their income from 20-50 acres in the Pacific North West, specifically in Nanaimo on Vancouver Island, BC. The goal is not to 10x this business, but instead 10x the farmers in this community - we take on interns to give them a stepping stone into their own farm business. We raise Chicken, Turkey, Lamb, Pork and Beef using Holistic Management on lease land in the East Wellington neighbourhood of Nanaimo, BC. This is urban regenerative ranching, at it’s finest.
We live between the coastline and the mountains. Living on an Island, food security is on a razors edge. We have slim to no winter and an abundance of underused pastures where the context is ripe for regenerative agriculture and holistic management can rewild ecosystems and produce economical, sustainable sustainable grass based livestock and meat.
