Agraria Center for Regenerative Practice
Workshops, Conferences, Trainings.
Agraria is a nonprofit working toward Bioregional Regeneration in the Miami Valley of Ohio. We research, demonstrate, and teach practices to restore the health of our soil, the diversity of our ecosystems, and the resilience of our communities. The focus of our 138-acre farm is ecosystem restoration, local food system support, and research and demonstrations of regenerative practices. Such practices aim to build soil health, protect our water resources, increase biodiversity and wildlife habitat and address climate change. We offer a 10-month Regenerative Farmer Fellowship, incubator plots for beginning farmers, annual conferences on Black farming and regenerative practices, workshops for gardeners and homesteaders and youth programs that teach regenerative skills and nature literacy. We partner with area universities on research, support area gardens serving food deserts, and convene a national BIPOC Farming Network.
