A family operation based in south east Saskatchewan. We are the 5th generation on our farm, which was settled in 1888. Daily activities are carried out with the help of our 2 sons and on occasion, gracious help from family and friends. We have been producing purebred black angus for nearly 30 years now; 10 years under holistic management practices. This spring, we held our 10th online bull sale featuring our slow grown, 2 year old bulls. The cow herd calves out on grass in May and June. The focus of the herd is fertility, longevity and functionality. We have also been working on utilizing cover crops over the last 5 years to build our soil health. We enjoy experimenting with crop varieties and feed options.
