October 6, 2022 | 9:00AM – 4:00PM MST
Del Cielo Farm of Albuquerque, NM
Held in conjunction with the 2022 Regenerate Conference (sold separately)
Join us on October 6, 2022 for a special field day at Del Cielo Farm/Picaflor Collective in the beautiful South Valley of Albuquerque, the ancestral home of the Tiwa Peoples. Discover how the Del Cielo Farm team has used regenerative agricultural practices and Holistic Management to help them reach their goals for a brighter, healthier future. Learn about farming practices that benefit soil health, principles that support the ecosystem, and how to gain more success by working with nature, not against it. Hear from Del Cielo Farm Owner and Holistic Management practitioner Sergio Schwartz, Grow the Growers graduate and Farm Manager Becca Marshall, plus many others!
About Del Cielo Farm
7202 Isleta Blvd, Albuquerque, NM 87105
Del Cielo is on its way to becoming a vibrant, community-focused farm hub in the South Valley. In partnership with the Picaflor Collective, their primary focus is cultivating and strengthening community agency and food sovereignty within their South Valley community.
The crew at Del Cielo Farm strives to be intentional and reciprocal regarding the natural, cultural, and spiritual impacts of their work with their community and the land – looking generations into the future. Through this they hope to breathe increased energy and momentum into cultivating a sustainable, community-run food system and they seek not only to be a refuge for those who have been systematically disenfranchised, but also strive to be a haven for insects, birds, and other wildlife that have been affected by destructive agricultural systems.
