Shelterbelt Farm

Description of product(s): Grass-fed lamb and beef, pastured eggs, organic peaches, apples and pears, baby ginger, raw honey, and value-added fruit products.

Description of practices: Our emphasis is on improving soil health and encouraging biodiversity. To that end, we use only practices designed to keep the soil covered, take a probiotic approach to pest and disease outbreaks, and produce as many products as possible on each acre of land. We are still in the early stages but do more planting and experiment with different species every year, and our systems just keep getting better!

My Notes:I am available to teach workshops and lead field days or for more personalized consulting. facebook.com/ShelterbeltFarm instagram.com/theshelterbelts
