Annie's Homegrown Supports Regenerative Agriculture

We were so excited when we heard about Annie’s Homegrown's decision to partner with two regenerative agriculture farmers in Montana to produce ingredients for their Elbow Pasta and Cheddar and their Honey Bunny Grahams. The recent partnership with farmers Nate Powell-Palm and Casey Bailey, is encouraging as it shows

that long-term partnerships are possible between large food brands and regenerative farmers and ranchers. The move is also encouraging to Annie's stable of organic consumers that were upset when the company was acquired by General Mills in 2014, showing that the brand still places a value on natural, organic ingredients. Annie’s has said that it hopes that this partnership will work to advance the use of regenerative agriculture throughout the food industry, and that their move to partner with regenerative agriculture practitioners will jump start the conversation among consumers that soil health and food purchasing decisions are an important factor in the fight against climate change. We hope so too. To learn more about how regenerative agriculture improves soil health through increased soil carbon and life in the soil, visit our website today.
