There is a great video from the 777 Ranch sharing how they are part of a research project to see how much carbon the ranch can store when using holistic planned grazing. Based on the ranch's size and soil type, they have the capacity to store the amount of carbon that would be created from cars burning 14 million gallons of gas (and do this on a yearly basis). Mimi Hillenbrand owns and operates the 777 Ranch in South Dakota and has been practicing Holistic Management for over 30 years. The ranch has been in the Hillenbrand family for 40 years. Through their efforts the ranch has seen their plant and animal biodiversity increase.
