HMI & CCOF Collaborate on Webinar in August

th California Certified Organic Foundation (CCOF) are happy to announce an introductory webinar that explores the relationship between organic and Holistic Management systems.  This introductory webinar is ideal for organic cattle ranchers looking to find out more about the basics of Holistic Management, Holistic Management practitioners curious to learn more about the organic certification, and cattle ranchers new to both approaches.

The webinar is on August 3rd; starting at 12:00PM and ending at 1:30PM Pacific Time. The webinar is free, but pre-registration is encouraged, with space limited to the first 100 registered participants.  Ample time will be reserved for questions from webinar participants.

Webinar speakers include Kelsey Maben, farm certification specialist at CCOF, who will review the steps necessary for livestock operations to obtain organic certification.  5th generation rancher Joe Morris from T.O. Cattle Company will talk about the basics of the Holistic Management decision-making framework, while also talking about his experiences combining organic and Holistic Management practices on his ranch.
