HMI's Newest Certified Educator

HMI is excited to announce our newest Certified Educator, Bluesette Campbell, who helps manage the family ranch near Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan, Canada. Bluesette joined HMI’s Certified Educator Training Program in 2019 after completing her practitioner level training through HM Canada.

Bluesette lives and works on the B-C Ranch, a third-generation ranch, with her husband, Mark, and their two boys, Andrew (18) and Birch (15). They have successfully completed an intergenerational transfer with Mark’s brother, Scott, from their parents, Don and Bev Campbell. The ranch currently is a 700-head cow/calf and long-yearling operation that includes an extra-age heifer enterprise.

Originally from a sheep ranch in Montana, Bluesette now calls Saskatchewan home. She completed her first Holistic Management course from Roland Kroos in Montana in 1996 but has taken several courses with Kelly Sidoryk and Don Campbell over the past 20 years. She has thoroughly enjoyed re-learning her love for agriculture through Holistic Management and its people which has led her to the decision of becoming a HM Certified Educator through Holistic Management International.

Other places that hold her passions are her no-till garden adventures, chemistry and magic in the kitchen and advocating for the rights of all individuals especially those with intellectual exceptionalities, where she spends much of her free time volunteering. Holistic Management practices can be seen as a common thread through all of her work. If you don’t find her in any of those places, she is likely out trying to make sense of the world while running. Bluesette currently sits as President on the HM Canada Board and is actively teaching courses, speaking and consulting.

Congratulations, Bluesette!
