Beginning Farmers & Ranchers Training Program is now open for registration!

New farmers and ranchers are digging in and getting down to business. HMI’s Beginning Farmers & Ranchers Program is helping to show them the way. The objective of this program is to educate and empower beginning and existing farmers and ranchers so they are positioned to build successful and sustainable businesses. Fruitvale, Poetry, Texas City, Adkins & Hunt, TX November 9-10, 2016 | December 7-8, 2016 | January 11-12, 2017 | February 8-9, 2017 | March 8-9, 2017

What to Expect

You will create a Whole Farm/Ranch goal, Time Management Plan, Grazing or Crop Plan, Holistic Financial Plan, Marketing Plan, Business Plan and Land Plan - specific to your farm or ranch while building a supportive network and circle of friends.

A Price That Can't Be Beat

Only $500 per person, thanks to the generous support by others who believe in this program's effectiveness. Full and Partial Scholarships are available based on financial need and suitability for the class. This course also qualifies for FSA Borrower Training Credit.
