While we've seen an increase in the number of farmers and ranchers changing their production methods to become more sustainable, we still have a long way to go. So where does your country stack up in regards to food sustainability and food waste? Developed by the Economist Intelligence Unit with the BCFN Foundation, this chart provides an in-depth view of where countries rank on issues such as Food Loss and Waste, Sustainable Agriculture, and Nutrition. A complete report can also be downloaded from the website, which provides a more comprehensive overview of each country that is ranked in the study; highlighting strengths as well as areas of concern. It's clear that based on the statistics in this report, the United States has a way to go to become more sustainable, with work needed in reducing food waste as well. It's an eye-opening report, and I'd love to hear what you think about it. For more information on sustainable and regenerative agriculture and Holistic Management, be sure to visit our website today.
