Job Description:

We seek a Social Media Contractor who will be responsible for creating a dynamic presence on HMI’s social media platforms. This person will create and execute a strategy for content creation, including video, graphics, memes, written posts, and ads that will result in increased brand awareness, website visits, leads, engagement, followers, and conversion. Engaging with followers, building our social media community, and networking with industry peers will be key in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage content on Instagram and Facebook that is informative and captivating to farmers, ranchers, land stewards, and industry peers in the context of Holistic Management.

  • Create content that HMI’s Certified Educators can share with their followers

  • Grow our social media followers and oversee our accounts

  • Increase awareness of HMI and Holistic Management

  • Increase awareness of HMI’s resources such as training programs, e-newsletter, free downloads, and more

  • Increase traffic to our website

  • Share Holistic Management practitioners’ achievements through impactful storytelling

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and applicable keywords

  • Help build our contact and outreach list through lead generation

  • Network with industry peers and potential influencers

  • Create successful ad campaigns that result in increased conversion

  • Engage with followers and respond to comments/messages appropriately

  • A/B testing with different messages and content

  • Compile data based on insights and ad performance, measuring success, and reporting monthly

  • Use social media best practices

Qualifications:

  • Social Media management experience with a proven record of success using Facebook and Instagram

  • Demonstrated experience in graphic design and video/reel creation

  • Understanding of social media best practices

  • Creativity and strong attention to detail

  • Senior college student or college graduate with a focus in Agricultural Communications, Social Media Management, Communications, Marketing, or a related field or equitable experience.

Pay:

$1500/month for 3+ posts per day (Instagram and Facebook) targeting the Holistic Management and regenerative agriculture community

Experience:

  • Social media marketing: 3 years minimum

  • Experience in agriculture, Holistic Management, and/or agricultural communications preferred, with knowledge of what is trending in those sectors of the industry.
