This step-by-step financial planning approach will help you understand the big picture view, plan for profit, control costs, and make critical production decisions based on a clear analysis of your different enterprises. You will develop a financial plan for improved financial decisions on both annual budgets and long-term investments. This course is six weeks long and you should plan on about 2 – 4 hours each week to participate in the webinars and complete the assignments.

Grazing Planning

In this course, you will learn the key grazing planning principles and practices for improving land health and productivity. You will learn the steps to this simple approach to grazing planning so that you can better analyze and address critical grazing considerations, as well as determine forage inventory, animal needs, and grazing and recovery periods. Once you have clarity about these parameters you will learn how to develop and communicate to others a written grazing plan. This course is six weeks long and you should plan on about 2 – 4 hours each week to participate in the webinars and complete the assignments.
Cropping Planning

If you are excited about Regenerative Agriculture and raise crops, HMI’s Holistic Cropping Planning Course will give you the tools to grow healthy crops, healthy soil, and healthy profits. In this course you will learn how to effectively manage your cropland and cropping practices to increase soil fertility and resilience as well as increase production and profitability from your cropping practices. Learn how to complete crop production planning all in the context of regenerative and conservation agriculture.
Business & Marketing Planning

This course steps you through the basics of using the Holistic Management decision-making framework to guide your marketing and business planning. You will have the opportunity to develop your business model and explore marketing options so that you can more effectively create your marketing and business plan outlines. You will also identify key action steps to begin implementation of those plans as part of the strategic development of your farm or ranch.

Biological Monitoring
