Holistic Land Planning

“Our farm, like so many others has accumulated a lot of infrastructure throughout the generations. Some of it is useful for taking the farm to the new century, most of it isn’t. But how to decide, whether to maintain a shed or tear it down? To expand farm boundaries or to focus on improving the existing fields. For me Holistic Land Planning has been a excellent way to decide how we would like the farm to look like far in the future, what infrastructure is needed and how to gradually get there one year at a time.” – Tuomas Mattila, Finland
