Other Non Cash Gifts
Other ways you can make a donation include stocks, publicly traded securities, and real estate. Real Estate — You can also choose to deed your home, farm, or other property to HMI in a life estate. An outright gift is the simplest means of making a charitable donation of real estate, with the deed of the property simply transferred from the owner to the nonprofit organization.
Jewelry—Donate your old jewelry to HMI. Donors can enjoy a fair market tax deduction while helping to support healthy soil, healthy food, and healthy lives through our training programs.
Art & Collectibles—If you’re a collector of art, antiques, or other collectibles, donors can receive a tax deduction for items donated to HMI.
Coins & Precious Metals— If you’ve amassed an array of coins or precious metals over the years, consider donating these items to HMI.
